Sorry, only sketchy details on this one as no sight of the scorebook and I wasn't there. But a very enthusiastic verbal report comes from the Little Fat Captain, who says everyone bowled well and then Paul Downes batted really well and, after the LFC was declared run out by Umpire Mogie (LFC departing with the sort of dissent he would tell us off for) Alex Ford came in and "smacked it," said Mick.
Great - those of us who saw Alex play a few years ago knew he could do this and it will be a terrific asset if we can get him to play more regularly now.
A terrific result at a ground where we are usually beaten but have now won twice by nine wickets!
