Sunseekers 140-7 40 overs T Jennings 37 no, D Holmes 22, S Taylor 20, P Calladine 14

On a scorcher at Denby Seekers batted first Stevie Nicholls & Jim Taylor fell very cheaply for 3 & 2 respectively to if i say some pretty sub standard bowling but with us so far this season we keep getting out to the bad ball. Young Sam came in to try and steady the ship but could only manage 20 before he was caught in the deep. Ross's stay at the wicket was short lived after he was caught for 4. Brian and myself tried to steady the ship with Brian eventually bowled for 11, Bringing Jim Antcliffe to the wicket. I eventually went to a storming catch for 14, but was to get my own back with a stormer myself even if i was accused by some knob head spectator that I dropped the ball. Young Daz Holmes & Tom Jennings came into the fray slaying the ball all over the place Tom eventually finishing on 37 not out and a quick fire 22 from Daz Holmes gave us something to defend we eventually finishing on 140-7 off 40 overs.
Stu Walters started our reply with ball bowling some Jaffa's eventually finishing with figures of 3-23 of his 8 overs, Young Sam Taylor bowled some beauty's and took a hat-trick that really put the pressure on eventually finishing with figures of 3-21 off 7 overs. But we also bowled a lot of short stuff that was put away for boundary's this ended up costing us the game.
