... and this time it's serious!
11 Sunseekers turned out for the club's annual net at Darley Fields on Sunday. Eight of them were "fit" to play. The other three just took the piss. So, business as usual.
Significantly, however, the secretary has learned that, such is the growing reputation of Sunseekers in Derbyshire cricket, Breadsall CC actually sent a spy down to Darley to watch us train; and this still three months away from our game up there.
We trust that he will go back and report that there is nothing to worry about, although it is probably as well that he didn't see a bloke who looked like Dave Evans (but couldn't have been) displaying a wide range of attacking strokes at one point in the afternoon.
