Mick and Carpo got us off to a decent start, scoring at around 5 an over. Carpo cost himself a jug by getting another 50 whilst Wenny showed us all the art of backing up. Paul Downes stuck around for a good while, scoring useful runs. Robin and Col took us to a total of 160 with a good old thrash at the end.

Halberton made a solid start, with the Diggles looking good. However wickets steadily fell as the score mounted. Sighs of relief were breathed when Steve Diggle and eventually Alan Cork were sent back to the pavilion.

The game almost tuned as 14 years old Alex took apart the bowling of centuries old Brian Bennett. However, all of that experience was not wasted when T'Owd man claimed a hat rick (even though this was not realised until it was pointed out at the end by Halberton's Steve D.
