Breadsall 260 all out
Sunseekers 235 not all out (Carpenter 84, Wenn 67, Sam Taylor something that was more than his dad's score)

This here is young Mr Evans's email to the secretary, in lieu of his promised full report... don't hold your breath!

Yesterday was enjoyable. They had a young side - few over 25, most under 20. They batted first – skipper lost toss, but not sure that makes any difference – and made 260 all out in 37 overs. They had a few who contributed about 40 or 50, but we kept nipping wickets. Jim T got three, Brian got three I think, I got a couple, Jim D got a couple I think.
Tea was outstanding! Best I’ve had as a Sunseeker!
Micky and Carpo then set about the reply and made a very good fist. They put on 177 for the first wicket (skipper 67, Carpo 84). Then a mini-collapse ensued when they realised there was a game on. Having bowled slightly lesser bowlers they put first teamers on to tie us down and take the game away – it worked. I think we finished on about 235, still a very good effort and far closer than any of us thought we would get.
